A burglar, a panicked housewife and a speechless mother-in-law.
Interesting character : Wen Wen, young mother of two.
Wen Wen : I was wondering what I had done wrong when both my dogs died. The vet said it was death by poisoning. I blamed myself.
A week later, I was asleep when I felt a certain sensation. A hand seemed to be rubbing my face and trying to wake me up or make me go to sleep. I couldn’t make it out. I just couldn’t wake up as I was too tired. I said a silent prayer and said if it was from God let it be a blessing and if it wasn’t from God let the unholy spirit be banished from my presence.
Suddenly I woke up from my sleep. I checked on my kids and they seemed to be ok. I opened the balcony door as I heard some sounds. Normally I would look down from my balcony and survey my compound for intruders.
In front of me was an intruder. He was just as shocked as me. I tried to scream but it was useless. No sounds came out. I hit him with my hands as I was worried for the safety of my kids. After a few moments he jumped down to the roof of my extension and from there down to my garden and over my fence. It all happened in what seemed like seconds. He didn’t harm me.
My hands still hurt. I am no hero but that night I acted like a crazy woman. I couldn’t shout but I punched and hit like a crazy woman.
Mother-in-law: I saw the intruder climbing over the fence. He climbed up from the porch to the balcony. I too tried to shout but no sounds came out. In the end, I managed to use my bare hands to hit the door to make sounds to frighten off the thief.
Wen Wen : Perhaps that was what woke me up.

i think the cause of you not being able to scream is just pure shock terror not black magic or such. Thank god the burglar/intruder didn’t do nothing to you and your kids.
it is a good ending but they have taken more security measures since then like more lights at night. th enew dogs will need time to grow up

yeap, i found myself totally froze up both in speech and in action when i am terribly frightened.
anyway, thank God for the close encounter. Must consider putting up more safety procedure like extra lock and adding grills at the ceiling entry…
