Haze is back in Sibu?
I do not understand what is happening. It has been stifling hot today. At first I thought it was the haze. I asked around and no one seems to have witnessed any open burning or aware of any local open burning activities.
The sun was still out but an hour ago, in my area it seems to have lost its usual heat. It is cool. The sun seems to be hidden although it is visible. I hope it is not a sign the haze is returning to Sibu.
Even the neighbour’s dog welcomes this respite from the hot sun.
Normally, the full glare of the sun would be felt in my garden. But it seems like much later in the evening and not 4.00 something. Maybe it is just my imagination? There is no storm on the horizon. It is weird. It is too early for open burning for padi planting. There is no smell in the air.
It is damn hot in Kuching too. I have to switch on aircon at every corner of my house. Too bad I don’t have one in the kitchen cum dining area. If not, the whole house will be cool and I can have a happy dinner. When is the down pour? Heard Santubong area had a heavy rain this morning but not at my housing area. Must perform the rain dance soon. lol
I have three air cons n it is not enuf for the house :(. It is so hot.
