Bonsai, nasi beryani and true love

bonsai

Last night we went to see a bonsai exhibition. The flower pots and bonsai were selling for a fraction of the prize. I was so tempted to buy but I reminded myself Oopi would destroy the bonsai in a day. Georgeous stuff selling for as low as Rm12.00 a plant and big impressive looking flower pots direct from China at Rm50.00 each. Last night was the last night and they had to clear stock.

nasi bryani

I cooked nasi beryani this morning but it was a tame affair. It tasted lovely with a great aroma but what is noticeably missing is the curry. Benghui and Mrs BB wouldn’t touch spicy stuff. I contented myself with munching three raw chillies.

true love

It is impossible to stand in the way of true love. This dog comes in to see Oopi every day when we are not at home.

dog entrance

Apparently it climbs on the concrete fence and squeezes in through the railings. I saw it with my own eyes but not quick enough with the camera. There is no way I can overcome the problem. :( Please Oopi do not get pregnant. I do not need more mouths to feed.

The only thing on my mind is looking for a care giver. They come and they go when they realize the enormity of the responsibility they are carrying. Indon maids do not like this kind of job. It is thus left to the locals so there is a definite short supply of care givers.
