Teachers Day is celebrated in my son’s school today. He came home very happy. There was a grin on his face. Like some one who has found a fortune. I asked him why he was so happy.
Apparently there was a party in his classroom and every kid was encouraged to at least bring something for the class party. There were lots of left overs and the teacher gave them to the kids to be taken home.
It takes just a little to be happy when one is a child
It has been very hot today. No matter what I do, the heat just seems to undermine every activity I do. Perhaps it is due to the sun or the food I ate. Even after sweating buckets doing the Bollywood aerobics with original Bollywood music and a session at the sauna, I just can’t cool down. Feeling feverish. Perhaps the food I had at lunch was too rich.

I had a nice working relationship going with a sixties uncle until recently. It puzzled me that he now avoided me and generally went out of his way to avoid me. I do what I normally do : just let it be. We cannot please every body. Do no harm to others and try to sleep well at night.
