Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman student Levy Li Su Lin crowned Miss Malaysia Universe 2008
The 20-year-old student and part-time model representing Terengganu will be representing Malaysia in Nha Thrang, Vietnam for the Miss Universe 2008 Pageant in mid-June. First runner up was Jean Thor Jean Nee, and 23, from Federal Territory, second runner-up was Valerie Chan Hsueh Yi, 23.
Levy Li Su Lin was easily the crowd favourite.
Her winning interpretation of the pageant’s theme “Real women behind the beauty: “Beauty must come in a whole package and it is just as its letters suggest – B, brain; E, elegance, A, attitude, U, unique, T, tall that means standing tall and be confident, and Y, yourself.”
I am disappointed that Miss Sarawak didn’t win but every body has tried their best. All the contestants are already winners. All the best to Levy Li Su Lin.
