Chronology of Random Events about Bengbeng that you should know.

1) My first sweetheart was a state soft ball player, Teresa. She was the sweetest person ever. In the old days there were cheap matinees and for a small sum of money we could have a wonderful time.

2) We used to sit in front of the music player and sing songs together. It didn’t help that we didn’t make music. But, who cared? It was before the age of karaoke.

3) My favorite singers were Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. Neil Diamond was also a singer I used to sing along with. I used to love listening to Rita Coolidge too. Maybe it is because I had little money and my sister had the album. I didn’t have much in terms of choices.

4) A cousin gave me a Kapok guitar and I learned some simple chords.

5) I used to be active in mime and dramas. I always played the role of the bad guy.

6) I once auditioned for some cultural dances but the trainer said I moved like a little elephant and made the stage shake. So I ended up with the lion dance troupe

7) The first song I sang in front of a group of people was “Dream, dream, dream”.

I am at ease with public speaking.
