40 days of purpose
I asked myself the question, ” What on earth am I here for? ” Quite a difficult question to answer, isn’t it? Anyway I received a t-shirt asking this question. In a way I felt glad to receive it although I had to fork out Rm20.00. A very reasonable price too considering the quality of the material.
I know vaguely it is about the 40 days of purpose. Other than that, I know absolutely nothing. All I know is that for once Bengbeng who has always been on the fringe of society has come one step closer to establishing ties with the community. I am one who has never been in the ‘in’ crowd. You can see me on the outer fringe of…. gatherings.
I am now tired and weary of living a life where I can see people like though lighted windows at night, seemingly being a part of them and never one with them. It is like an illusion, the light gives an illusion as if the glass does not exist but it does.
Walk in through a glass window and you could hurt yourself

BB,
You have created this in your mind (the idea of being on the outside). I am sure everyone feels this way sometimes, but it is just a perception.
A buddhist mind would never think this way.

How does a Buddhist mind think?
I’m not exactly sure what you mean by being on the outside. Maybe I’ve never experienced it before? But the purpose of life - that’s interesting. Have you ever thought the purpose of life is to experience life?
