External Celcom broadband modem, hurting legs and spiritual assistance
Today is one of the rare occasions I can access the net during office hours. It is thanks to Celcom broadband. A colleague brought his ‘external Celcom broadband modem’ to work accidentally
today.
Many of my colleagues have been busy. They have been queuing up at the Sibu post office hoping to get their rebates for their cars and motor-cycles. Tempers were frayed and I heard rumors of pickpockets being active. As for me, it is life as usual. I don’t know how I will be able to arrange time to queue up at the post office. Maybe next week.
Apparently they believe this rebate facility might be withdrawn at some time in the future. When I asked them why they had so little confidence in the governments administrative procedures they just said they didn’t want to be at the losing end should there be any unexpected developments in the country. When pressed further, they said they believe the country’s politics are in a state of flux. I don’t even know what being in a state of flux means hahahhah.
I was invited by rubberseeds to go to Kapit today or to go to Mukah tomorrow with Mr Bong for a wedding reception. Our good friend, a Hakka from Kuching, Ah Huat is finally tying the knot. Sigh **** finally.
But today i have to attend an appreciation dinner. Supposedly too, Huai Bin will be organizing a curry fish-head gathering at Sheraton Restaurant this weekend. I couldn’t decide which option to take. But anyway the thought of delicious fish head curry decided it for me.
I have also acquired an adsl, a second hand one. Hopefully when it comes into my hands, I will be able to post better pics. I haven’t been blogging very regularly. I have instead been reading the archives of a new friend which go back like years and years. It is interesting that reading the archives of a blogger especially one who doesn’t hold back makes us live in his skin and feel what he feels. It was an emotional see-saw. But God or fate as some prefer to call it never gives up on us. I too was given a second chance.
I remember going to Indian temples, Goddess of Mercy Temple in Pitt Street, Pulau Tikus both Siamese and Burmese Buddhist temples, even the Kek Lok Si and some churches. God delivered . Praise God for all answered prayers or yet to be answered prayers. Whatever the circumstances, let us just trust in his wisdom and believe that all things work out for the good of all who love God.
Reading the archives of a friend is different from reading the archives of strangers. It got so addictive and painful that I slept little until I finished it all. Also my legs have been hurting. I have been ingesting pain-killers to stave off the pain. I really should do something about the pain. It hurts especially below the ankles and slightly less between the ankles and the knee caps.
It used to be that a single panadol would do the job but now I need at least two panadols before I can bear the pain. Luckily it comes periodically and not every single day of my life. A visit to a masseur does help for a few days.
Have a nice day every body.
ps: I got the idea for this pic from a PR 4 blog I visited recently. Perhaps it will attract traffic for me as it did his haahahahahahahhahhah
