Along the way, the bus picked up worshipers who were spread out and brought them over for worship. Evidently it was the highlight of their week. There were smiles every where as neighbors could meet each other and talk about the past week’s events. Thanks to the bus and the church.
Before the start of the service. Every body was busy settling down.
After an initial session where every body had the worship service, the children went off to one of the bilik ( rooms ) to have their Sunday school session while the adults continued with the remainder of the service.
When it all over it was supper time. The supper was brought over from Sibu. I never had a chance to come near a package but from what I gather it comprises of delicacies from Sibu and costs quite a lot as there are so many worshipers involved in the three longhouses.
On this particular occasion, the team brought new shoes to be distributed to the Sunday school children. The children were delighted
The children posing for the camera with their new shoes.
The generators failed twice during the night plunging the night into total darkness. It reminded me that the increase in fuel prices has not left them unscathed.

It’s sad to see kids are told the ancients lies and fear by the adults.
God is made in the man’s image and is based on untruth.
Ask yourself this; is compulsory love is moral? Is paying for someone’s else sin, so called the original sin moral?
Thanks for the video. I don’t often get to see how others worship God so this is really uplifting. Got a mail for you.
beng, this is interesting post. how did u managed to follow them for the session, usually camera is frown upon.
i didnt know camera was frowned upon. in fact the adults asked the children to pose for the camera and wave hands for the video
they were laughing along. i took care not to film their inner rooms or private chambers
It’s an interesting service. It’s great to see people uniting in faith.
nice look into their lives
This was interesting, so nice to see the children in smiles with their new shoes.
Looks like you had a great time!
This is very good indeed. My Church also does some short term mission to these long houses.
Another one of our favourite missions is Pa Adang, a Penan settlement.

Can I add your blog to my blog roll?
