Roti paratha and wushu-photohunters

This week’s theme is support. To me instant food manufacturers play an important role as a support for small, busy families who don’t have much time to cook.

roti prata

I am so glad the weekend is here. I have been so busy recently it is wonderful to have a rest. However, I still got a kid to feed and he seems to be hungry all the time. Luckily I have some instant food in the refrigerator. Roti prata. He eats it with a type of pickled vegetables.

This is what the packaging looks like. I save money too not eating out.

uncle david

I had a visitor. He suggested we car pool to pick up the kids. ( A support group to help weather the high fuel prices )

wushu

Kids are the leaders of tomorrow. To have extra-curricular activities is a wonderful thing. They learn discipline too. In this pic we see volunteers from the community teaching the ancient discipline to the kids. These volunteers are a support group too for the education system in the country.

wushu kids

Kids will be kids. Fun can be found wherever and whenever one looks for it. :)

To be honest, as a parent, I sometimes feel the pressure of being at the beck and call of the commitments, the wushu, the tuition classes etc. It never ends. But I wouldn’t change this status quo for anything else in this world :)

Hmm–Roti Prata? Looks like a pancake or a crepe with veggies on top. Interesting.

Love the support group take on the theme.

Great take on the theme and a good sequence of photographs. I well remember the years when my daughter was growing up and support meant endless carpooling, dance classes, etc. It is a lot of work but in the end as you say it’s worth it and they grow up. Happy weekend.
