Hari Kemerdekaan ( Independence Day ), MacDonalds and wushu arrow

I tried to teach Benghui the importance of Hari Kemerdekaan. I might as well have tried to explain the flavor of champagne to him. All he knew was Ultraman was showing on the telly today so he wanted to come home as soon as possible.

This week’s theme is beautiful. I found some problems selecting pics to fit this theme. I have been told I have weird taste in terms of what is beautiful and what is not. More often than not, I take pics most of my friends would ignore but I would consider beautiful. So call me weird if you wish.

Anwar Ibrahim is back

Anwar garnered 31,195 votes while BN’s Arif Shah Omar Shah got 15,524 votes, giving Anwar a thumping majority of 15,671 votes. This landslide victory brought a range of emotions amongst my freinds and acquaintances depending on their political leanings.
However almost all were surprised with the huge majority. As one of my friends put it, ” It came as a total surprise after watching the news on the telly for the past few weeks, reading the newspapers and listening to the radio. “

My weekend photographic trip with victor went well. There were others invited but some how or other it didn’t work out so Victor decided to drive us wherever our fancy took us. Being guys in charge of a vehicle and reluctant to ask for directions trying to act macho
we got lost and ended up in Julau first. It has been a long time since i went to Julau.
