Wushu stuff and a visit to the dentist

I thought I would have a nice quiet day in the office as all the Muslim staff are away on leave and I could just relax. But I didn’t have that luxury. Benghui phoned me to pick him up from wushu. He had a terrible pain in his mouth he said.

Medical equipment and stroke patient care

We faced a daunting task when we had to take care of a stroke patient. In the first place, we are not medical personnel. Furthermore, sending her to a nursing home required a huge sum of money monthly which we couldn’t afford. Some how or other we had to manage.

I was looking at a woman walking past. She had high heels and was wearing a sleeveless white blouse and a tight leather skirt. Sporting colored hair, very fair in complexion, and with a big smile, she attracted my attention. In my mind, I was thinking, “She is so beautiful.” My friends followed my glance and one of them immediately said,” Uncle Beng, she is old enough to be my auntie.”

Chinese chicken soup for coughs

I am experiencing the beginning of a cough. It kept me awake last night as the throat is sensitive and I woke up repeatedly when I felt the need to cough. So this morning, I decided to cook the following soup which is supposed to be good for coughs. Why? I don’t know but I am just following the tradition of my grandmother who probably followed the tradition of her ancestors

Food to lose weight

I have been very active recently and consequently I feel very hungry. I cannot reduce the amount of food I eat otherwise I will feel tired and listless. On the other hand, I worry about my cholesterol level. My latest diet consists of watery food. Just as tasty but possibly with fewer calories.

Another day another post. But this post might make some of you envious Mrs Bengbeng’s birthday is coming soon and when I saw some fashion apparel on the net, I went over for a look. I contacted Irene and surprise of surprises, she agreed to sponsor Mrs Bengbeng’s birthday present(s). She didn’t set a limit but of course being a typical Ah Beng I understand that two would be nice. One cannot be too greedy.

For your info irene uses Poslaju for delivery. 1 to 2 pieces, delivery cost RM6 to West Malaysia, to Sabah and Sarawak RM8 and thereafter, additional piece add RM1.00. For the Klang valley, allow one day for delivery. For example : if you order 3 pieces, then delivery charges is only RM6 + RM1 for West Malaysia.
Payment so far is by bank in. ATM bank in or maybank2u transfer. All the clothes you see on the site have ready stock at hand. I can vouch for the credibility of this website.
