There are two types of garden enthusiasts :) , those who can afford to spend the money and those who can’t like me. :) So what I do is get a cutting or get plants from the jungle etc or if I am lucky enough, it will grow wild-most likely brought in by the birds.

Bougainvilleas are the easiest to grow and hardy.

wild flower

This one grew by itself, most probably courtesy of a kind bird or the wind.

white and yellow flower

This is a water based plant. I plant it in a water filled pot and it has white and yellow flowers. Notice the spider web thread. I haven’t even been near to this plant for ages. Basically I harvest it to be used in my aquarium. The red parrot fish love to play among the leaves of this plant.

These green from this two plants cools the eyes. Such :) my friends, is a short tour of my garden.

benghui does most of it. it is a chore he has to do every Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon. it is on his list of things to do. I blog while he does that or wash my car.

i dont love gardening :) but when i was a child living in a 288 sq ft low cost unit flat, having a garden was a dream. my mum used to plant stuff in milo containers to brighten up the home. i guess i learn to appreciate the extra space from her.
