My heart is still beating so fast. I have to cool down. Blogging is one way. When luck is against you, it is against you. Maybe it is best I stay in the house until this wind of misfortune blows over. But if I look at it from another angle, perhaps I have been lucky, very lucky.
I was in a good mood after having a haircut. Now I have no more ‘real’ hair. It is more like fuzz. I feel light headed. I think I will prefer this hairstyle from now on. Then I went to pick up Benghui. After picking up Benghui suddenly I heard a loud bang. My stationary car lurched forward. My immediate thought was for Benghui. He was wearing a seat belt and in a state of shock and confusion. There were tears in his eyes but I think he wasn’t hurt. Not in the real sense. Just shock. Then he started getting excited.
I had been knocked from behind by a Pajero. There is damage is to the back. The trunk cannot be opened. It will need to be sent to the workshop. After checking to make sure the children in the Pajero weren’t hurt, we exchanged telephone numbers. The driver was a lady and I tried my best to calm her down. We decided to settle it amicably without going through the hassle of insurance and making police reports.
A coaster like this
Yesterday, Benghui tried to boil water. There was a coaster stuck to the bottom of the kettle. He was unaware of it. It was made of rubber. It melted and blocked the gas outlet of the gas stove. The burning acrid smell of the rubber and gas alerted us to the situation. The kettle was burnt, the house was filled with black smoke when I opened the kitchen door. I need a new gas stove.
All in all, God has been keeping a watch out for Benghui. Thank God for that.
Sorry about your accident. Lucky, no one was hurt.If it is going to cost a bundle , I think you should call up your insurance company and they will’ kau tim’ everything for you when the authorised workshop dealer will handle everything for you . You only have to go to the police station to make the report and pay the Rm300.00 traffic summon.
It is not a hassle anymore and this is the safest and better way as you cannot trust the other driver to keep her words.
If it is not your fault, you can still have your NCB intact.

You are indeed lucky! Did you decide not to report the accident to the police for the sake of the Pajero driver since she’s the one who would stand to lose her NCB? May not be a wise move, unless she keeps her word.
OMG! Boiling the kettle with the coaster still intact! That’s recipe for disaster but I guess anyone of us could make such mistakes!
They say accidents happen in threes. Sorry don’t mean to make you worry, but if you’ve been lucky 2 times, you will be just as lucky the 3rd time. So to sum it up, you are lucky! : )

good to know no one was hurt during the accident. to be hit by a pajero… should be quite bad the damage.

Does Beng Hui (or yourself) feel any pain in the neck, giddiness or headache? Such rear-enders called whip-lash can cause neck problems if the neck-rest did not properly support your head during impact.

At least Benghui is a good boy and trying to learn how to help around the house! I hope the Pajero driver will be honest to reimburse you for the claims. And I think it should be safe to go out… the worse has already happened to you!

Hello everybody , I sent the car to the workshop. the compensation will cover all. my car has a very solid shell therefore the damage was less than expected. We r all fine over here thanks for the concern
