This week for my entry I post a microwave oven and a gas stove I bought today.

gas cooker

I had to replace this because my kid boiled some water with a rubber coaster stuck under the kettle. Consequently the rubber melted and fortunately only the gas stove and kettle was spoiled. No fire . Being made of metal helped.

microwave

I also bought a simple microwave oven to replace the microwave which he spoiled by simply pressing buttons on the microwave oven. Hence this time I bought a simple microwave which is not digital.

I have learned my lesson. :)

First lesson for all, make sure all electrical appliances/kitchen stoves and drugs/poisons/detergents are out of reach of children.

Many times, we take it for granted. The unfortunate ones have all suffered from poisoning or electrocution simply because we adults have been careless on our part. Parents need to be vigilant, not easy I do understand, but this to some is matter of life and death that’s preventable.

Well… I always believe in simplicity. The more digital and features a gadget has, the more problems and money would be involved. Basic necessity is the best. :)

Poor you – I’m glad you got new appliances. :)

My lst microwave only lasted just over 2 years before it blew up. I have a 3 year warranty on the new one.

I hope your son didn’t suffer any trauma.

At home we use electric stove and we don’t even have a microwave for I feel having one is a bit dangerous, especially when the kids operate it.

Have a great weekend, BB and regards to Mrs. BB :)

  18. JC says:

Very nice replacements, BB. Good fortune to you!

  19. Glad nothing bad happened because of that incident. I don’t really know how to cook so the microwave is my favorite piece in the kitchen. :)
