Melaka tourist attractions

Melaka is a lovely city to stroll in. The day we were there, there was a strong wind blowing. My cap almost flew off a few times.
Nevertheless the tour was made more interesting with tales spun by Melaka blogger, Bibik. I haven’t put a link as his blog is a private blog.
This is the famous Melaka River.
A mosque built according to Acheh architecture.
There were many places of worship all over the place. The intricate carvings, designs and architecture hopefully will forever be preserved now that it has been awarded World Heritage City status.
The next time you are in Melaka, have chicken rice for lunch at this shop. It is at the beginning of Jonkers Street.
It is yummy.
I was feeling hungry and wondering why they hadn’t served us rice. This thingy which looked like fish balls turned out to be rice.

Waah so lucky you met that famous Bibik Nyonya. I can even recognize his well plucked eye brows! Merry Christmas and I made you the longkang snowman in my blog. Take a look before it melts!
I love Melaka with its historical sites. The chicken rice balls is overhyped – not a very big deal to me. I actually prefer normal chicken rice I eat in KL. Looks like you had a great time there!
: )
