We should always be thankful for good dental health and facilities available.
However for those living in this longhouse, the nearest dental facility is 2.5 hours away and they are always thankful when the Sibu dental clinic makes a visit to bring their services to them.

The services are free and the people in this particular longhouse are very thankful.

Here, we see the longhouse folks having fun being taught by the nurses how to brush their teeth properly. I think they knew how to do it but they participated for the fun of it anyway,

Oh yes, be thankful to them! And be thankful for everything in our life! Be thankful we still have a job in this economic crisis. I know I’m thankful! : )
Amen to that
I agree with you that these dentists and dental nurses deserve a lot of praise and thanks for the very good job they’re doing reaching out to those who have less in life. May we have more generous and kindhearted people like them.
You have a very nice blog and I like your writings. I hope you won’t mind if I stop by every once in a while. Thank you very much too for visiting my blog. I appreciate it a lot. Thanks again and take care.
Amazing photo essay which emphasizes that a lot of what many in the world take for granted still are luxuries for others.
Wah! I’ll be really thankful if I can get my teeth fixed with such a facility. Tooth pain could be real killing.
kudos to their efforts. I’ve seen how the UNICEF folks driving, boating, trekking miles to get to remote villages in Asia and around the world to bring medication and health services to remote villages on LONG WAY AROUND LONG WAY DOWN on cable.
What a great take on the theme! I’m always thankful that there are people in the world who will reach out to others.
Thanks for visiting!
Wow I wish we could get some free dental care over here. Even with our dental insurance I can’t afford to get the work done that I need.
This is a wonderful take on the theme and very thoughtful and kind to remember the Dental workers.

I did wonder about how these tribes people get medical attention. I’m glad they are not left behind.
Wonderful photos for this week!!!
Mine is posted now….come on over to view. The camaraderie of brothers. Of which I’m thankful; my grandsons!!!
HERE is my THANKFUL
Social service at its best.
Really touching pictures from you.
It is so good for all to see that things aren’t the same in our world! I’m glad that you get dental care and I am thankful for that too!
My thankfulpost is up too!
I wish you a happy weekend
Visiting dentist is always one of my woes.
Oh, so much pain
Good idea for the theme, though.
Have a great weekend.
It makes me thankful to live somewhere that I have access to dental health care regularly and grateful that these dentists and nurses travel to help those who aren’t as lucky as I am!
My post is up at:

Happy Photo Hunt!
This was a great idea for the theme. Good shots and post.
Beng,
As an American, I really appreciate your perspective on things like this. It never crossed my mind to be thankful for dentists, so I’m glad I saw your post this week. Thank you.
Good story. It’s so noble that people are helping each other.
it costs us Rm5000 thereabouts to arrange the whole trip including a medical team. the boat itself cost us more than 2k
It’s always great to be thankful for all the blessing we receive in life. And greater to show our gratitude in helping others.
