I took this pic at the sidewalk along Jalan Sultan in Kuala Lumpur. I cannot be absolutely sure of course as I am quite unfamiliar with the roads of Kuala Lumpur.
Immediately after these blind musicians took up their positions, a clear space formed around them. People still walked along the sidewalk but left them some space. Perhaps it is about respect for them and they are earning an honest living.

at least they work hard for da money
that’s what i respect them *salute*
They really dont have much choice
Yes they should be respected for they are earning an honest living. A very touching shot!
It is an honorable job as we all know their options r limited
owhhhh i missed photohunter..
I respect them , as they are not beggers you can see they try to do something to make a little money
i dont think they make much money though… it is difficult to pull at heart strings nowadays with the state of the economy the way it is
It still must be a hard way to earn a living. Happy weekend
Great take on the theme and that’s good that people gave the musicians space.
Thanks for your comment on mine and also on my one about the doc stuff. My check up went well. I haven’t heard yet about the scan but I suspect if it had been bad news they would have called today. They tend to give bad news fast so I’m assuming good news.
I hope you have a great weekend.
As strange as it may sound… I think I’ve encountered these musicians before. Seems like they may have been plying their trade for a long time now — for which I give full credit to them.
this is such a creative take, great capture and lucky they let you take the photo of them!
A lovely take on space. Enjoy your weekend.
I’ve seen that space form around musicians in USA too.
there will always be a space for everybody in this universe, especially for those who strive hard.
Re space around the blind musicians, it’s the same here in the PI. Happy hunting!
