Did I tell you I went fishing on Saturday night? We decided to go fishing as we didn’t have any program after ten at night.

So, we went to look for and found a shop selling fishing equipment like weights, hooks, baits, fishing lines etc.

We fished here but late at night. It was so dark I was a little afraid I would walk off the edge without knowing it. I apologize for the low quality of the pics.

We used this piece of borrowed equipment to store our bait : fresh prawns. The vibrator keeps the water ‘liveable’ for the prawns.

with prawns as your bet, it means that you’re catching big fishes. wow! great experience.
Dong, it was a memorable experience. Because the wharf was so far out, it was like we were in the middle of the river and the winds blew and there was no light except for a solitary bulb at the far end. nothing except the stars and the moon-light. not a sound except for what sounds that we ourselves made.

that niight, we didnt catch any squids. we were supposed to go out to sea in a sampan or small boat but i thought better of it n decided to stay on solid shore

I went fishing for two Sundays straight. I love it! Looking forward to do it this Saturday again. hahaha.. I am turning into a black now.

I remember following my grandma fishing when I was a kid along with some cousins. We were all around 4-6 yrs old then. We’d dig for lala while she fished. Ah, sweet memories.
