Bengbeng, I spent a fortune on my food. My maid cooked it the most healthy way. I never smoked. I never drank. It is useless. My time has come. I should have enjoyed my life more. My children do not really need my money.
I should have been kind to my daughters in law. Got close to my grandchildren. I should have retired after my husband left me. Living alone is lonely. I should have gone out to visit more. My siblings are no longer close to me. How many people will attend my funeral if I had no money to leave behind.
A long time ago, I had religion. I was a little girl then. Not married. Now it is not easy for me to find faith again. With or without faith, my time will also come.
I am very tired Bengbeng. I cannot move much. I am sick. I went to see the doctor. He says I am alright. Nothing wrong. All these young doctors. They tell lies. They don’t want to tell us the truth. He is hiding something from me. He can lie but my body cannot lie.
Fast forward a few months :
Some women came to visit me. They speak words I do not understand. They read Psalm 23 to me. I told them I wanted to go to church at least once. It was very difficult but I went. I was surprised. There were so many people I knew there. None of them had told me about religion or God before. Only this group of women unknown to me. They came to visit me and told me.

Life is fragile and short. Time flies so soon that when we really stop and stare for a while..it’s already too late. We should make the fullest out of our life right? Try to mingle and do our best in everything. Life is life…we must live it.

Life is difficult at the best of times but at the same time, there is joy and happiness even at the worst of times ?
Something we all need to be reminded of – enjoy Life as long as you can!
