I can sleep when I am dead

I have been pretty busy lately. It has got to the extent I don’t even feel in the mood for gym. Mrs BB has been asking me where am I headed in all the activities I am involved in. Occasionally I have two or three activities going on at a particular time. Of course I have my favourites and certain commitments take priority.

Take for instance my photography as a hobby. I thought i was picking up some skills. Anyway some blogger friends invited me to submit some pics for a photography exhibition and looking through my archives, I found that I had none that met the standards :) I console myself it is just a hobby and merely to decorate by blog posts :)

From life is a journey

I am kind of sulking a little though this weekend. I spent a total of RM1050 on servicing my car and purchase of four new tyres. I had no choice. It was time to let them go. :(

Anyway, I took Benghui to look at some pics. His eyes opened big when he realized a camera can do so much and not just point and shoot. BCF 2009 or Borneo Cultural 2009 Festival season is upon Sibu again. As usual I will fool myself that I am a photographer and shoot some pics and share with you all.

Stay tuned. I will also be going to a beautiful waterfall with Victor and abana this weekend. We are also going to have a great dinner ( my fishing mates and gym buddies ). That is not to mention the other activities ( more private ones ) that are already planned. The problem is I thrive in an atmosphere where i keep myself busy.

I think again and again about what Mrs BB said : where am I headed. I guess I can sleep when I am dead.

The blog title is so disturbing…. stay strong… and stop thinking about dead when so many people in the hospital are trying to stay alive !!!!

Photography and fishing are a great way to enjoy life….

Thank you. oh, the title of the post is the title of the song on the post :)

I realized you Mr. BengBeng have been talking about death a lot lately… Don’t let H1N1 get to you (of course i know this isn’t the real deal). Don’t think about.. we should enjoy life!

Ah yes how much a camera can do.. capture happy moments, sad moments, beautiful moments, delicious moments and put all of them into frames and memories. Got to love the person who created the camera!

oh, the title of the post is the title of the song on the post :)

I think you need to sleep before you’re dead. You sound like you’re burned out.

As for photography, take it one step at a time. You haven’t even had your dslr for a few months. Why you compare with people who have been shooting for years and probably had training. Develop your own niche.

I am getting there it is true. I submitted one. :)

Car maintenance is really sucks the life-blood outta ya these days. But come to think, better a safe ride than a fat wallet.

I agree about a safe ride but a nice fat wallet would be nice :)

Don’t worry bro. I think it’s the exhibition that doesn’t meet the criteria of your photos. Ha :D But honestly I love some of the photos you snapped. For example the fishing trip ones. :D

i hate to feel that i’m one of those who bought SLR because it’s a trend and I don’t know nuts about it. you know, SLR is so cheap nowadays even all the ah lians took it to the mall and shoot themselves with big faces and nothing at the back. i find it… eewww/

perhaps sometimes hobby strips you off all your savings.

yr pics look good …most of the time… when u r taking pics anyway n not lifting it off the net :)

That’s a bizarre title for your post today ;) I love keeping myself busy too, and treasure every moment of it (that explains why I love photography too). Enjoy whatever you do. it’s later then you think!

What a wonderful title!!!! You’ve joined me in the ranks of the peeps of doom. Nothing negative nor superstitious about death. Our fragile lives are impermanent, so it’s good to know that you are living life to the fullest, but at the same time; being aware its pitfall that is death. ^_^

Anton, Anton… this comment leaves me speechless. I have been told my blog has lost its fun some how :)

This title sounds scary. Oh, didn’t know there’s a song like that!

We have downtime once in a while. It’s OK, just skip the gym and continue when you are more up to it.

Car service and repairs always cost a bomb! That’s why car is such a liability! If I stay in Singapore, I will never buy a car. Unfortunately, without a car here in KL, I can’t survive!

I need a car everyday. Survival
