Thousands thronged the Chinese Cultural Festival venue to see for themselves and welcome the new Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. Datuk Seri told the crowd he had gone to the pasar malam to witness for himself Sibu society and was pleased 1Malaysia concept was in practice.

    I heard Melbourne got its own Chinese Foochow PM – The Mr Wuching :)

    I see Najib is trying to win back voters that were lost in the last election.
    One Malaysia and The CM of Sarawak? Sounds like a contradiction in principles.

    We will just have to see what happens in the next general elections
