Perhaps I shall blog about me and my friends. I have many friends and they are from different circles. In every group we ( in my definition me = we ) behave in a manner we perceive to be an appropriate manner according to different circumstances.

For an average Beng, we wake up, work hard throughout the day and rest towards the evening and the day is done.

Friends are like jewels in our lives. They brighten up the arid landscape, bring color and added depth to one’s life. It helps when there are common interests.

I seem to be in there : can see what’s going on clearly but never as an active participant. Always an outsider.

This lady took our pics with her mobile phone after we took her pic
A very friendly person. We bought some kueh from her too.
Photography has been a boon to my life. It is not only a hobby but it has opened my eyes to things around me. I appreciate spending time with my photography enthusiast friends. But my photography skills are far behind them but that is of no matter.

The joy is in the experience. The ability to freeze an image so that while it has passed the memory remains. It helps that I have a blog to post them up to share with my readers.
The pics in this post are ‘weird’ in terms of coloring.

Possibly it is because of the thick haze and I do not know how to deal this new set of light conditions.

Yo Mr Beng!
I just came back from Malaysia to help out for my friend’s wedding.
Nice timing on a friendship post! And great photos here.
Thanks brader, waiting for a post on yr fren’s wedding
these are interesting photos. i had a queasy feeling when i saw the photos of musang and python. the market scenes are very similar here, same with the vegetables.
oh, weekend snapshot has a new link— http://www.slack-jawed.com
Hi Beng… not sure why some of your pics look a little blueish. Might be the white balance setting on your camera. Check the setting, just set to auto white balance if you are not sure.
You r right. After doing wat u said, everything was normal again. Thanks
I love the Photos and your words.
The pics remind me a bit of Korea.
I wonder ow they make those baskets out of newspapers?
they roll up the newspapers into straw like thingies, dye them and weave them
OMG…snakes? Beheaded snakes? Euuuwww….
The waterfall shot is really nice.
The pic was taken with my camera but not by me. It was hazy and very warm at the waterfall. I felt unwell there.
Musang? Fox? This reminds me of painted skin! haha
Both how come this mussang photo looks like dog? My….then are brutally killed huh. The wound on the head… =(
Where you got those exotic foods photos? The ular sawa and musang is really something new to me. Never see it selling in market.
I went down to Julau with Abana, Philip and Steve
