It finally happened. My ZyXel Prestige 600 series modem has finally connected to the internet for the last time. Had a discussion with Mrs as to what kind of modem to buy to replace my old faithful ZyXel Prestige 600 series modem. Mrs BB was very specific. She wanted no more snaking wires all over the place. This was the case because Benghui, Mrs BB and I access the net from time to time. It is a problem as we all use different computers.
Sometimes when Benghui plays with his toys, he trips over the wires or I accidentally disconnect the wires when I am mopping or sweeping the floor which incidentally Mrs BB does most of the time but never once has she disconnected the wires. Perhaps she has more skill or is less clumsy than me.
We called Will for help. He was most obliging. He came over and discovered that my modem was not connected to the internet. After a call to Streamyx explaining the situation, they came over at a time convenient to us. It turned out that it was a problem affecting only my area. They called another team over and in a matter of minutes, I was again online
Kudos to Streamy for their efficient service. The next day, a lady called me up to inquire about the service, whether i was satisfied etc. Totally unexpected good service from Streamyx

Guess what? It was quite affordable. Thanks to Will No more unsightly wires all over the place and more harmony in the home. Btw if you are from Sibu, you can go to Will’s blog and make inquiries. I am sure he will be more than willing to give a quotation or suggestions on computer supplies.
Go wireless. It is so convenient.

D-Link eh…. good choice…
that is reassuring, thanks!
Oh no! This is also a problematic router!
i sincerely hope u r wrong
hmmm … you are the 1st one that i know who gave Streamyx a kudoz. Most of my friends and fellow bloggers have lots of different complaints on Streamyx services … anyway, i hope they maintain a good service for you… :p
I’m using D-link too but i use two separate units … a modem and a router.

That is the same model used in my office
In that case, i think u mean it is good?
Haha. Where is your house, bengbeng? Maybe when I need wireless service, I can just park my car near your house to get connected. The streamyx line is really having many problem recently in Sibu.

Wow! Second time I heard great service from Streamyx, first time from Tekkaus.
Anyway, I think Streamyx is quite good, I have no problem with them except on occasional days (which is quite rare nowadays) when the connection is slow.

Good to know that ur internet is ok now. Thanks for compliment. If got any problem again, just let me know.
