Today has been a wonderful day. The Photographic Society of Sibu organized a model photoshoot photography competition at Jubilee Park. I had been looking forward to it for some time. Not so much for the photoshoot but for the get-together with my photographer friends. (more…)

A bit of background. A friendly man. He is very gentle when handling his cat. He is a fisherman and upon his return, the cat is always there waiting for bounty from his fishing trips. The man is also skillful with a knife to make fish fillet etc etc etc.

I woke up. Ran to see the lights. It was off. The automatic lights worked. Last night daddy took me to town. Yippeee. I wore a mask and stayed in the car. I gave mummy RM5.00 to buy bak chang or meat dumplings for me and daddy. (more…)

So I am going to do a post today. Typical Bengbeng rubbish. I woke up this morning and was persuaded to go to the Pedada Road Sunday market. Went up to wake Benghui but all I got was a ‘huh’ sound and he went straight back to sleep. It didn’t matter as grandpa is with us. He would babysit him while we were away. (more…)
I had at most an hour of sleep last night. I do not understand what is happening. I keep imagining seeing things It was so cold that I was shivering although I have no fever. I had to use a comforter, sheep skin and another blanket just to stop myself from shivering. (more…)
I didn’t sleep well last night. Some people call this time of the year the month of the hungry ghosts. But to me, it doesn’t make sense. Does this mean only Chinese ghosts are let out of heaven at this time of the year? How about Malay, Dayak, Indian and ghosts of other nationalities? How about those ghosts who are half Chinese and half Caucasian for example? I have no answers. Whoever has any answers cannot verify the answers anyway. This involves another realm. (more…)
