Sometimes I don’t know what I am doing. Like today I was at Kingwood pool waiting for the Lions installation 2009-2010 to begin. Honestly I don’t know why I went. Perhaps it is because I feel being a Lion helps me to contribute to society in some way or other. As an individual there are limits to what I can do.

On the other hand, the past few months I have been so engrossed with blogging and photography I have been extremely busy.

Anyway it was heartening to see so many new members being inducted.

After being inducted, they can wear the Lions jacket for the very first time. It is a meaningful moment for all new members. It was great to see faces I have not seen for a long time.

Her smile never fails to lift my spirits. :)

I was honored to share a table with these sweet ladies. :)

Looking at all these smiling faces, one is tempted to think the Lions is mainly a social organization but the Lions do contribute a lot in terms of time, effort and money to make the world a better place for Sibu and the world beyond.

By the end of the event, my Lions spirit was rekindled.

Great to see so many friends and people with common interest in one place. Kingwood – sounds like a perfect place for lions. Ladies have pretty outfits!
