From Sibu Christmas parade

I have had my suspicions about Santa Claus for some time. One year, to my surprise, astonishment and disappointment, there was no Christmas present under the Christmas tree. There were rumours of him getting involved with a local Sibu girl.

I did a little snooping around and found the proof. Little Santa Clauses all over the place. Proven. Santa Claus married a local Sibu girl. :) :) :) :)

Anyway it was at the Sibu Christmas parade. I went with Ah Tuong.

Before the parade started, a service was held. It was awesome to hear Christmas carols resounding through the normally quiet field.

Noah’s Ark. Do they know something I don’t? Is there going to be another flood in Sibu? :)

An entire church on the move :)

It seemed to me that I haven’t seen so many people on the streets for a long time.

I think orange is a lovely colour. I chatted with them. They are very nice. :)

It was exciting to be part of the crowd.

It was heartening to see crowds carrying umbrella to finish off the route of the parade. It was a walk of faith for faith said of my friends whom I met near Tanahmas. I pondered over his words. Yes, what he said was true. It was easier than carrying a cross but nevertheless a walk in faith for the faith.

He chided me when I said the doctors would earn lots of money the following day with so many little children being caught in the rain. He said, “Bengbeng, you got to have faith.”
