The next place we visited was Betong

Fort Lily was built in 1885 just after Saribas was transferred to Brooke rule. The original two-tier roof was replaced with thatch. The wood shingle roof is of a later date. During the turbulent days of skirmishes by Rentap, this fort saw quite a bit of action. It later later served as a police station and a government office.

Mi rangkai. The noodle itself tasted different from ordinary noodles and it has a different texture. I would say it has similarities to the Penang yi foo mee
