Walking around with a dslr we attracted quite a bit of attention But generally it was positive attention and there was some teasing too :) I love the people of Sri Aman. They are so friendly. This guy sells toy catfish.

We had the pleasure of chatting with them. They explained that the tilapia fish they were selling came from Batang Ai. The fish is very fresh.

I love those kinds of markets.
They are similar to the ones we had in Korea.
    I miss them :)

Good that the attention you got was positive.
Over here, surprisingly, it is too :)

Lovely pics…Tilapia from BA look bigger and fatter than what we get here in Miri!!

Do you know that Tilapia is the fish which gave Peter the gold coin to pay taxes? The fish is poplarly called African fish in West Malaysia.
