Benghui was very excited about the Rejang River Regatta so I decided to bring him to witness it. Personally it was also my first time too as it was last held in Sibu in 1990 .

Each of the racing boats has the capacity for 20 people – 18 paddlers,

It was exciting watching muscles compete with each other to win.

There is no room for slacking. If you slack, you let the team down. Everybody was giving their best effort to the team.

If given the chance I want to watch the power boat races too. Hopefully this event will become an annual event.
