As a committee member of the Photographic Society of Sibu I was asked to be present during the official opening ceremony. The roads were jammed and it took me a long time before I could find a parking lot far from the venue.

I can still remember what Mr.Daniel Ngieng said in his speech. He exhorted all the members present to be creative and to think out of the box. I think that is sound advice especially when one is involved in photography, calligraphy or fine arts.

I had never met Mr Daniel Ngieng before but he was very friendly and impressed me with his knowledge of photography. He also suggested taking more pics under the best lighting conditions especially in the evenings.
