Happy Deepavali and Bengbeng joins an aerobic class

Yesterday we sent our ‘adopted’ Indian princess home for the Deepavali celebrations. Deepavali is a festival where Hindus celebrate the victory of good over evil. It feels kind of weird sometimes, walking around Sibu and it is like any other day. Gosh! It isn’t even a public holiday here :(

My weight is like a see-saw. It has gone back up so I readily accepted an invitation to an aerobics class at I-Gym at Sungai Merah.

Being in that room with so many ladies in various degrees of dress or ‘undress’ in their fashionable athletic wear, I felt infinitely younger :) It was definitely cool to be able to see oneself in the mirror while moving

We even did a modified Indian dance because of Deepavali. Complete with Indian dance-clone-movements with hands, legs and even head movements. I even attempted to play with my eyes the way they do it in the movies. What fun we all had. I really could get used to this.

The macarena is something I haven’t attempted for some time. It is just like cycling. Once the music begins, the body auto begins to shake and move.

Rocketman by Elton John

As I was the newby, I guess the members mostly SYTS (sweet young things) present couldn’t quite make up their minds about me? Would I suffer a heart attack? Would I last one whole hour? Would I be able to follow?

Summer Rain by the Jonas Brothers

I was smiling thinking of what Mrs BB and Benghui would think if they could see me then :) The next thought on my mind was it would be so nice if Sarawakiana was dancing there too. :) :)

We would be the John Travolta and Olivia Newton John of the film, Grease hahahahaahha hehehehhehe hohoho

Happy Deepavali தீபாவளி வாழ்த்துக்கள் to all of you who are celebrating Deepavali and a great weekend to all the rest :) Thank you so much for reading the rantings through this , this, this ….. disorganized, incoherent thoughts. :)
