How are you all, my dear readers? Today was kind of an unusual day. At the clinic, the nurse startled me by clucking in an expressive way and making the appropriate noises. Immediately the kind doctor came over and …………. how do I put it? It doesn’t look good. My first thought was why why me, Lord? Have I not suffered enough this year?

Most Many Some people I know will do things from a sense of duty which they would never attempt as a pleasure. There must be thousands of respectable middle-class men, who, if you found them unexpectedly at a sauna/massage centre etc, would explain in all earnestness and sincerity that a doctor had ordered them to do so for their ‘health’.

You might be wondering about my title. Mrs BB recently bought a dvd for Benghui from our regular dvd shop. He agreed if the dvd was defective, he would replace it with a similar title. However upon reaching home, we found that it could not be opened on a laptop or a dvd player.

Being forced to live together on a temporary basis, often patients open up to one another. Conversations also carry in a ward. A patient is a person and he/she occasionally is at his/her most vulnerable moment. Pain is a powerful irritant. Depression and boredom too make miserable companions.
