Bengbeng is making a comeback. Finally after being in and out of hospital for eight months, I have the confidence I have left the whole episode behind me. Tonight I attended a committee meeting of the Sarawak Chenshi Taijiquan Association. As usual everybody was very kind and warm.

I have stopped smoking finally. It is day twelve and now I have the confidence that I can quit smoking. I did it cold turkey. No more fooling myself by cutting down or reducing the number of sticks. Perception versus reality

Perception is awareness, comprehension or an understanding of something. Reality is a the quality or fact of being real. Sometimes perception and reality are very close and sometimes they differ widely. The facade that constitutes/ encompasses a human being is sometimes veiled by a thin veneer of civility and courtesy. The richer, well heeled and connected folks often find themselves questioning the sincerity of those around them and their motives. Those who possess less worldly possessions theoretically live a more honest life with fewer assumptions.
