Yoon Taek Lim and courage to move on.

Today I wish to share with you a song by Ulala Session, the West Sky. What inspires me about this group is Yoon Taek Lim whose courage and positiveness made me wake-up from the stupor I was in and to take more purposeful strides in life. I quote Lim, “There’s only one thing — being positive. You don’t know how or when life ends. It’s better to live as if every day is your last.”

Lim Yoon-taek and his quartet won the top prize on the South Korean equivalent of “American Idol,” ending a quest that captured the hearts of the nation after Lim, the group leader, revealed he had stomach cancer. The slim, bespectacled Lim, 32, had grown thinner and lost his hair as the contest wore on and his stage-four cancer took a toll. Doctors said the disease had spread throughout his body and warned the group to prepare for the worst.

To move on, not look back.. come what may… because what cannot be avoided must be faced head-on while what should be treasured should be cherished.
