It’s a long story but I will begin from day one. The cars in front of me had stopped. I stopped too. Enjoyed some music for a while . Heard a screeching brake sound, looked at the rear view mirror and saw a Hi-Lux coming straight at me from the back.

The real ladies… to some, their lady got 4 tyres la… they’ll spend more time with her than the one that talks and asks for the world… LOL My carb’s jet a bit blocked, my coil’s leaking, throttle cable’s frayed ( can’t go full throttle ) tank never full, more like shitting bricks but it’s the drive shaft.
Hope you guy readers on mylongkang don’t get taken for a spin by gals … how nice to have auto pilot installed.

Benghui has been eating a lot recently. Gone are the days when we had to persuade him to eat more. He is now just a ‘mouth’. He is now up to my chin in height. Anyway Mrs BB told me to just put food on the table. Whether he eats or not or if he is able to reach his full potential is entirely up to Benghui. Benghui tensed for a lecture whch fortunately didn’t come.

Facebook. Everybody it seems to me is busy facebooking. I decided to use it to reconnect with an old friend. She seemed to have disappeared from the face of the earth. Anyway with the help of a friend and a string of friends along the way, just a day later, Mrs BB was stunned when I received a call from her.
She had done well and was now the mother of two daughters and a son, triplets. We both agreed we were living no longer just for ourselves. Ah, when we were young. This is Benghui doing his school homework online. It seems like only yesterday when I had to sit down to teach him the basics of English and now there is this interactive software. One day, parents like me will be like the derelicts of time. Dinosaurs of a bygone era.
Soon, I will have to return this Viva Elite and drive around only in my humble Korean MPV. I definitely need a second car. A friend suggested I buy a ‘showy’ car. I will instead buy a compact, fuel-efficient car. There is nothing to ‘show’. hahahahahaha. Any suggestions?
Benghui suggested we bake our own cookies and cakes. So I brought home a conventional oven. Here I am testing it with some pieces of chicken. I will have to reorganize the kitchen to make space for this. The problem is the lack of electric outlets in the kitchen and too many electrical appliances. I really have negligible experience in cooking with a conventional oven.I will google online and learn along the way. Benghui is ambitious and looking forward to roast chicken, baked fish etc.

I have discovered a secret… if you are a sincere person… it will attract everyone…anyone . Sincerity cannot be faked or false.
People will run to you from afar and tie their lives around you. The crooked and insincere will want to run as far away from you .. they can sense that your kind can detect their phoneyness.
Another secret… you look at a lady… in your mind.. you say.. hmmm not bad.. I like your style… she will somehow get that message… I don’t know how.. that also depends on the steady thoughts you have… she will turn around and look at you. You go try it… but be careful what’s in your head.
Of course if you look like hamsap ( lusting ) .. can get a slap lor. Now if I can get some one to just show some interest in me.

The 15th day of Chinese New Year is also known as the Chinese Valentine’s day in Malaysia. In hopes of finding true love, the singles will hurl mandarin oranges into lake is a practice synonymous with Chap Goh Mei (the 15th night, 十五冥) in Hokkien dialect. They will scribble their contact details on oranges before throwing them into the lake. A new friendship/relationship will be started after any side dial the contact number from the orange. In some places, girls throw oranges while guys throw banana.
Nowadays, you can now expect to get the email, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr or other online platforms scribbled. So, I had just thrown five mandarin oranges into Sungai Bernam (Bernam River). Because there’s no lake here in my hometown. It’s just a yearly traditional practice anyhow. As long as i had thrown the orange out, well which means i am ready to start a new relationship, wish someone can really “get” my orange. lol

Me, Ah Tuong
Strong winds are blowing outside my hostel almost every day and I feel so cold. It seems to seep into the bones this feeling of coldness. Warmth is everything. My heart is warmed by thoughts of all my loved ones in Malaysia and all around the world. Today is not only the last day of the celebration but the starting of a brand new year.
