My Longkang

Hello everybody. Ah Tuong here. It is still cold here in Beijing but there are sunny days almost every day now.

Life in campus is hectic and we are busy . We keep our minds focused on passing everything well.

To me the outsider from Malaysia, I find life here an eye-opener. So many new experiences.

There is so much colour.

It has been my dream for a long time to further my education here. Now that I am here, I find that it is very challenging. More so than in our own local universities. Competitive.

Most people I come into contact with over here are very friendly and helpful.

The Chinese prefer vegetables and fruits to meat so finding vegetarian food is not a problem. I just pick and choose from the side dishes available at the university canteen. Occasionally maybe once a fortnight we, some Malaysian students eat here. I would like to eat here everyday but it is not a place where I can afford to eat every day. However it is very near our campus.

Thank God for facebook where I can update myself with Bengbeng’s life and all my friends. Did you have a great Valentine’s Day celebration? Love to hear from you all. I will try to reply comments when I have access to the net.
