Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again
I found this video as I was surfing the net. It is so beautiful and yet so sad…so very sad.

Normally I don’t listen to dangdut songs but this singer aroused my interest. I will be watching out for dangdut album in the future to add to my music collection. Videos were shot last night at the Borneo Cultural Festival. I wish I knew her name and could look out for her music.

Somebody told me my tastes are so retro.
I was told on msn chat my tastes in music leaves her feeling restful and ready to go to sleep especially the post about Teresa Teng. To be honest I have goosebumps when I hear her voice. She remains one of Taiwan’s greatest treasures. I have heard others trying to imitate her or doing their own versions of her song. They never come near.

Hey, mylongkang has gone retro. Haha. Actually it has always been retro.
I first saw this video on Paul’s blog. If you could read my mind. What would life be like if we could read each other’s mind? Would we like what we read?
Would our minds be on an indefinite ’shut-off’ mode’ afraid to know what others are thinking about us or ‘high-alert’ mode ever inquisitive and eager to know the latest developments in people’s perception of us? Would we like what we see?

Santubong hosted the 10th Annual Rainforest World Music fest this year. There were record attendances from all over the world and some had to cancel their attendance because there were no more hotel rooms available. Some sources say there were even counterfeit tickets for sale.
However it was a grand event. Watch this video for yourself. Cool! Awesome! There was a variety of world music from Zimbabwe, United Kingdom, Unites States of America, Scotland, Lebanon and others.

When it ended, the participants were reluctant to leave. It was a precious occasion when music lovers from all over the world gathered to do what they like most : appreciate music. Music is the food of the soul.
I have just come back from Mukah with so many lovely pics for mylongkang readers ( at least I think they do look lovely
but flickr is down so I’ll have to do with this short clip.
It is snippets of the best from the music festival. Enjoy. Assemblage of clips shot on a handheld Panasonic DVC32 during the 9th Rainforest World Music Festival in Sarawak. Featuring fantastic acts like Tengir Too (Kyrgyzstan), Bidayuh Bamboo Band Sarawak), Kilema (Madagascar), and Chungmyung Art Group (Korea).
This is one of the most ridiculous videos I have ever seen and after a while, it made me smile and then it made laugh right out loud. The antics of a life-guard at a jacuzzi :). Watch it if you have a few minutes to spare
Jim Carrey as usual is his usual self…..so convincing you forget he is acting ![]()
