When two or more Chinese gather together, food is never absent, thank God! Philip decided we were hungry and our noses lead us to Mr Mejan’s stall. ( I hope I got the name correct. ) The one can of beer I had made me a little bit forgetful. ![]()

I spied Connoisseur Cafe when I was with Mary’s friend on the way to Kokoberry. The name Connoisseur Cafe attracted me. According to the dictionary, a connoisseur is a person who is especially competent to pass critical judgments in an art, particularly one of the fine arts, or in matters of taste: a connoisseur of modern art;a discerning judge of the best in any field.
Thus we decided to visit this place instead. Frankly the thought of being with Mary seemed very tempting at that time. At least I would have nice pics like HB to put on a post
Imagine sweet Mary giving a sweet smile and tasting something as if it tastes absolutely delicious. But what to do? Make the best of the situation. Mary is probably too busy anyway. My friend was also in a hurry.
The guy at the counter was very young and kinda cute (
Suggestive wink to Mary ) . There were equally young ladies there. I found out why my friend chose this place. There is internet access for customers. When we were arrived the place was empty but soon the yuppies started arriving one by one with their laptops.
I had this combo meal. The main dish is Singapore laksa. At first I thought it kinda bland but after a while I sort of started to enjoy it. Total cost Rm12.00. There was also a 10% discount,
It is situated near Muhibbah food court, next to the massage centre or the row of shop houses behind Sugar Bun.
Benghui : Daddy, Nathaniel gave something to Uncle Andy. I got no money to buy you anything. I cannot save fast enough

My nose lead me to this scene while I was having noodles at a coffee shop. The smell of cooking in the open. It was awesome. I noticed they were cooking inside bamboo.

Today I had the honor of being invited to my friends’ joint birthday celebration tonight. Birthday parties are joyous occasions and every body had a happy time. It is a celebration of a friend’s life. It reminds me how time moves on and waits for no one.
The thing is to look ahead and not look back too often
It is Saturday and refrigerator cleaning time. All left overs have to cooked or thrown away which would be a waste. Saturday is our usual marketing day.

1. the left-overs
2. left overs cooked with cabbage

It has been very hot today. No matter what I do, the heat just seems to undermine every activity I do. Perhaps it is due to the sun or the food I ate. Even after sweating buckets doing the Bollywood aerobics with original Bollywood music and a session at the sauna, I just can’t cool down. Feeling feverish. Perhaps the food I had at lunch was too rich.
