Damai Beach Resort – day at the beach

It was Benghui’s first time experience with the sea. Mrs BB was adamant that he keep out of the water. It didn’t help that a member of the hotel staff went around with a loud hailer asking hotel guests to leave the sea because it was high tide.

Benghui actually woke up early. During the school holidays he would normally sleep until at least nine or ten in the morning.

Kuching across the Sarawak River

Benghui was bored stiff at home so I decided to take him to Kuching. I had a choice of flying, driving or taking a bus. I took a bus because I thought the seven hour journey might just be a little teeny meeny little too tiring for me. Benghui too would have a chance to see more
of the world along the way. How wrong I was! He spent the entire journey enjoying himself playing computer games with Koo Ming Ciat, a polytechnic student. ![]()

Cyril Dason of Sarawak Bloggers and Amiey Alen

Recently I had an opportunity to stop over in Kuching where I had the chance to meet two Kuching bloggers. Cyril and Amiey Alen. They were kind enough enough to rescue me from an otherwise dull and colourless afternoon lounging around aimlessly in the airport transit lounge. SarawakBloggers is the brainchild of Cyril and his cohorts.
Sarawak Bloggers community serves as a platform to unite bloggers who have a deep sense of love towards the largest state in Malaysia, Sarawak, which is also a part of Borneo, the third largest island in the world
