The kids were just as excited to be involved in the parade. Dressed in their colorful shiny best, they look very cute. I love taking pics of kids as they are very natural in their posing.

The Chinese may not be the majority in Mukah but their presence is indeed felt. Here we have a couple dressed in olden costumes using their mobile phones 
The lion dance is often a symbol of the Chinese community all over the world. It is no different over here in Mukah.

I am feeling sad today because I have lost a good friend. A faithful friend and companion. She tottered up to me and Mrs BB, looked at us before she left us. The whole family is in grief. I let Benghui blog about it to ‘let go’ a bit of his grief.
