This week’s theme is jiggly. I looked it up on dictionary.com and came up with this : To move or rock lightly up and down or to and fro in an unsteady, jerky manner.

From photohunters

I goofed, I stumbled and I fumbled trying to get the right camera settings for this pic. This two very nice guys were kind enough to pose for quite a long moment until this shot was finally taken. I can imagine it was quite a strain for them to maintain this pose.

But they didn’t make any jiggly motion but their muscles must have faced considerable strain. Thanks a million, guys!

The theme this week is lick. Checked dictionary.com and found the meaning of lick to be to pass the tongue over the surface of, as to moisten, taste, or eat (often fol. by up, off, from, etc.): to lick a postage stamp; to lick an ice-cream cone. So I decided to post pics of food for this photohunters post. KFC has a punchline – finger licking good. Let us see if KFC can lick these local fare.

Photohunters: time it travels so fast too fast

The theme this week is fast.

Many of us go through life at such a fast pace. Running here and there but at the end of our allotted span, few live beyond four score years. The trees in the pics below were planted as a temporary ‘grave’ for a worker who was bitten by an unnamed poisonous animal. They were here even before Fort Brooke was built in 1862. How fast time has passed.

The tree is pitiful that stands alone
Its branches fragile and its roots uncertain.
The dew may give it moisture, but the wind
Blows it to one side and the other
