We do not have a ‘highway’ like the West Malaysian PLUS highway in Sarawak but one is still able to travel by road from Kuching all the way to Sri Aman, Sibu, Bintulu, Miri and thereafter to Brunei.

One Tree Hill Cafe

After coming back from the golf and country club, we were all bushed. I know some of us talked until late at night but both me and my room-mate fell asleep almost at once. I was also tired from the traveling and photo taking the day before

Woke up feeling worried. I was hungry and I did not know where to go for food. I needn’t have worried. There are two outlets for food. The Palm Restaurant and Bar and the less formal One Tree Hill Cafe. In the end I settled for One Tree Hill Cafe because breakfast there came with our package deal. It serves local buffet or set menus.

Many Sibu folks were caught unawares. The event was the Giving of Alms to Monks Procession, Sibu. Many did not know what to do. Sibu people ever generous wanted to offer alms but they did not know the ethics. Generous offers of cash were turned down.

Dayang Isah Tandang Sari Tomb Pusa

Upon arrival at Pusa again from Kampung Pusa, we now had to look for the Dayang Isah Tandang Sari Tomb. It wasn’t an easy task. We were given a few landmarks to look for like Sesco, Kampung Kalok, abandoned housing scheme, 5th lane, Agro Bank etc. Still it wasn’t an easy task as Falcon initially drove around in circles.

Then we met this good samaritan. He volunteered to bring us to the Dayang Isah Tandang Sari Tomb.
