A friend was chatting with me on facebook last night and commented that Benghui has not had much of a Christmas this year. Sadly this is true, especially the significance of Christmas.

We decided to explore Pearl Hill. It is quite popular among the locals but few tourists venture to this place. I was riding pillion and I found it difficult to mount and dismount from this bike. Too Ah Pek already with all my ancient, athritic , stiff joints which creaked with every move I made like in some Frankenstein movie.

Walking back to the car, Cliff decided he wanted to let Glenn pics from the top of the Sibu Tua Pek Kong pagoda. So off we went to the Sibu Tua Pek Kong. It is a Taoist temple. We were fortunate enough to meet up with Mr Tan Teck Chiang ( behind the counter ) who patiently gave us a mini talk on Taoism and what it meant to him and his life.
