Most probably it has not but like most middle aged couples, some of us might have taken each other for granted or feel embarrassed to talk about love like it is done in the movies. After so many years of marriage and kids draped all over the place, with laundry, dirty dishes, unmopped floors and in-laws to placate, console and counsel. Do you still love your spouse? I am sure you do but do you say it out aloud?

What is your definition of a perfect marriage? In the olden days a guy would be asked by his parents to marry a girl based on a photograph and he would not see the girl until the wedding night. It was believed love would blossom after marriage. Those marriages lasted forever or as the marriage vow says,’till death do us part’. I sometimes wonder whether every body up above or down below are swinging singles
