Walking back to the car, Cliff decided he wanted to let Glenn pics from the top of the Sibu Tua Pek Kong pagoda. So off we went to the Sibu Tua Pek Kong. It is a Taoist temple. We were fortunate enough to meet up with Mr Tan Teck Chiang ( behind the counter ) who patiently gave us a mini talk on Taoism and what it meant to him and his life.

The mid-autumn festival day is a grand occasion in Sibu. Mrs BB cooked special food today and even bought some moon cakes for the occasion. Benghui was involved in the Lantern Festival procession so I went to the Sibu Gateway tonight. I was fortunate enough to meet up with my Sibu Buddhist Association friends.

After the event, I rushed over to Pulau Babi for a boat trip to Bawang Assan. The weather was hot and I walked all the way from Hotel Li Hua. By the time I reached Pulau Babi, I had almost changed my mind about going. But to turn back meant walking all the way back to where my car was parked. :)
