Suituapui is in Penang!

Pic of Suituapui during his slimmer days..don’t you think how much Simon Yam almost looks like him? :)

Hey Penangites. Mylongkang’s guest blogger, Sibu’s cyber royalty, Benghui’s new kaypa and my friend suituapui is in town. Take care of Suituapui well. Bolt and lock your kitchens or make a rush to the nearest supermarket for new year goodies.

Jokes aside, he is a pussy cat, one of the kindest and most gentle human beings I have ever had the pleasure to meet. ( this could be influenced by some renumeration Benghui received the other night :) Benghui absolutely adores him. He even gave Suituapui a hug )

Bernard and Lillian take good care of him for me, you hear! Happy New Year Suituapui and all readers!

Old people do not want to die in the hospital or old folks’ home. PERIOD.

Parents, especially mothers, take care of the babies. Irregular feeding times through the night, endless urinating and pooing… When they put the infants on the pot, nothing! The moment they put on the pampers, out it comes! Some even have the tendency to vomit for no obvious reasons. And imagine the anxiety when they fall sick.

How to keep a relationship alive

Guest blogger Suituapui on 17 January, 2008

How do you keep the music playing?
How do you make it last?
How do you keep the song from fading too fast?
How do you lose yourself to someone?
and never lose your way?
How do you not run out of new things to say?
And since we’re always changing,
how can it be the same?
And tell me how year after year,
you’re sure your heart will fall apart
each time you hear her name.
I know the way I feel for you
it’s now or never.
The more I love, the more that I’m afraid
that in your eyes, I may not see forever..
forever…

If we can be the best of lovers,
yet be the best of friends,
if we can try with every day
to make it better as it grows,
with any luck, then I suppose,
the music never ends.

(Lyrics from the song by James Ingram & Patti La Belle)

I ASKED GOD…

I ASKED GOD…

I asked for strength
and God gave me difficulties to face.
I asked for wisdom
and God gave me problems to solve.
I asked for prosperity
and God gave me my body and brain with which to work

sunset

I asked for courage
and God gave me dangers to overcome.
I asked for Love
and God gave me troubled people to help.
I asked for favours
and God gave me opportunities.
I received nothing I wanted
but instead, I received everything I needed.

Uncle Dee : For what it’s worth, the poem was written by John Newton, a slave trader turned pastor, out of personal experience. He is better known as the composer of the hymn Amazing Grace.

Such social problems are all around. The sad thing is the innocent are the ones who suffer, more often than not, the poor child. However difficult, one must be responsible for one’s own mistake and never blame others.

Ponder awhile upon the excerpts from the lyrics of “RUNAWAY LOVE” by Ludacris with Mary J Blige:
